GONASER

Action

Estrous induction and synchronization. Anestrous treatment.

Highly purified Serum gonadotropin (eCG), as lyophilized powder and solvent for dilution.

Composition:

GONASER 500: vial containing 500 IU of eCG-PMSG as lyophilized powder. Vial containing 5 mL of solvent for dilution (PBS).

GONASER 5000: vial containing 5,000 IU of eCG-PMSG as lyophilized powder. Vial containing 50 mL of solvent for dilution (PBS).

Target Species:

Cattle, sheep and goats.

Indications:

Estrous induction and synchronization. Ovulation induction (anestrous treatment).

Administration route:

Intramuscular.

Recommendations for use and dosage:

CATTLE: 300 – 400 IU/animal, equivalent to 3 to 4 mL of the final dilution. SHEEP and GOATS: 400 – 600 IU/animal, equivalent to 4 to 6 mL of the final dilution; most frequently used dose = 500 UI (5 mL).

Administer as a single dose at the end of estrous synchronization protocol.

The lyophilized must be reconstituted using the entire volume of the solvent for GONASER. Final concentration after full reconstitution is 100 IU/ mL.

Refrigerated 2-8 ºC. Keep lyophilized vial protected from sunlight.
