Cows, sows and, sheep | Delivery: delivery induction (if fully dilated cervix); post partum uterine involution and to aid the expulsion of retained placenta; post partum stimulation of milk let-down.
Sows | Lactation: treatment of the agalactia post partum; lactation induction.
Cows | Mastitis: support (co-treatment) therapy to facilitate 'stripping out' of infected quarters in mastitis treatment.
Intramuscular, subcutaneous or intravenous.
Delivery: cows 75 – 100 IU (equivalent to 7.5 – 10 ml), sows and sheep 30 – 50 IU (equivalent to 3 – 5 ml). Lactation: sows and sheep 5 – 20 IU (equivalent to 0.5 – 2 ml). Milk ejection (let-down) & mastitis: cows 10 – 20 IU (equivalent to 1 – 2 ml).
Administration could be repeated after 30 minutes if the veterinarian consider it necessary.
