GESTAVET 600

Highly purified combination of Chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) and Serum gonadotropin (eCG), as lyophilized powder and solvent for dilution.

Composition:

GESTAVET 600 monodose (200/400): vial containing 200 IU of hCG + 400 IU of eCG/PMSG as lyophilized powder. Vial containing 5 mL of solvent for dilution (WFI; water for injection).

GESTAVET 600 multidose (“1000/2000” or “3000”): vial containing 1,000 IU of hCG + 2,000 IU of eCG/PMSG as lyophilized powder. Vial containing 25 mL of solvent for dilution (WFI; water for injection).

Target Species:

Female pigs.

Indications:

Estrous induction and synchronization.

Administration route:

Intramuscular, on the neck behind the base of the ear.

Recommendations for use and dosage:

5 mL/ animal (200 hCG + 400 eCG). Administer as a single dose at weaning or within 48 hours from weaning.

The lyophilized must be reconstituted using the entire volume of the solvent for GESTAVET. Final concentration after full reconstitution is 200 IU hCG + 400 IU eCG/ 5 mL (equivalent to 1 dose).

Refrigerated 2-8 ºC. Keep lyophilized vial protected from sunlight.
