Composition per dose:

Lyophilised powder:

One vial contains 200 IU of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) and 400 IU of pregnant mare serum gonadotropin (PMSG).

Solvent:

One vial contains 5 mL of water for injection.

Dose:

5 mL IM injection. Used in the following cases:

• Sows: Estrus induction and synchronization, treatment of seasonal anoestrus and post-weaning anoestrus.
• Gilts: Puberty induction, estrus induction and synchronization, and treatment of anoestrus.

GESTAVET induces estrus within 3–6 days after treatment.

Route of administration:

Intramuscular, behind the base of the ear.
